Dry Fruit Prasadm

The offering and receiving of Prasadam or Prasad in Hindu religion has always had some significance which is usually little known of. It holds immense importance with Hindu religion as it is the food we offer to our lords.During puja, many mantras are recited which invokes our 5 mahabhoot - earth, wind, fire, water, space. They all coupled with Naivedyam are offered to God (ref: Bhakthi Yoga).This offering is deemed the purest now and is distributed as Prasad to all who are participating in the ritual, as a gift from the Supreme.
